The work of St James in the City relies on the generosity and financial support of our members and friends. We are determined to establish a church that will reach out to
the city of Liverpool and beyond, and you can be a part of it. Click here to find out where your money goes, and click the donate button below to give:
If you are able, we encourage you to give regularly to St James in the City. This helps us to plan for the future and dream even bigger! The Bible teaches that having thought through your own circumstances your giving should be both regular and generous. Each person should give what they have decided in their heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7).
Our Preferred Way
You can set up a monthly gift to go directly out of your bank by standing order. Click the donate button above to do this via Churchsuite, or if you prefer to do this through your bank, please email email@example.com and we can send you all the information you will need.
If you would like to give a one-off donation, we have a number of ways you can do this.
Via Churchsuite - please click the donate button above to access the page.
BACs payment - please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for the details
Sunday – We do not have a collection plate during the service because we do not want to ask visitors to give. However, each week there is a collection box at the back of church where you can put cash or a cheque (made payable to St James in the City). We can also take card payments!
Send a cheque - via the post (made payable to St James in the City) to the church office FAO Janet Wightman:
St James in the City,
4 Lady Chapel Close
With every gift you give, whether it is a one off gift or a regular monthly gift, if you are a taxpayer we have the opportunity to claim gift aid tax relief on your donation. This means that for every pound you give, we can get an extra 25 pence.
Please help us to do this by filling in a gift aid declaration form and return to the Church office or place it in the offering box. Imagine what a difference that could make; and it does not cost you a thing!
