250th Development of Building & Ministry

What could St James Church look like in a few years? We are praying and in the early stages of the next phase of developments. Here are some architect mock ups to add the following to our space:

  • Installing a new heating system for the Main Space
  • Making a better cafe and servery area
  • Putting some extra breakout space underneath the balconies
  • Restoring the balconies with new access points and seating space to increase capacity

We also hope to be able to continue and expand our work with Liverpool Next Generation. It's been encouraging to see what God has done through our schools and university work but the initial seed funding comes to an end in Summer 2025. In order to continue this work, we will need further funding.

How can I respond to this?

Firstly, we ask you to Pray. Nothing of any significance happens without the prayers of God's people so please pray for wisdom for our leadership team, for favour with grant funding and for this Church to grow in faith and number.

Secondly, if you are in a position to do so, we would love you to consider giving to this so that future generations can have the same experience of St James that you have had. Could you give a monthly donation, or a one off gift? Whatever you are able will go towards this fund for resourcing the next generation and improving our building.
