COVID-19 Updates

The Church of England as a whole is slowly returning to physical services, although there are still a number of restrictions on our meetings.
We continue to follow Government and national Church of England guidance about re-opening and will return to online-only services if the situation requires it.

The church office is also shut but all staff can still be contacted.

We are trying to do as much as possible online for the duration of the pandemic. For the moment, we are focusing on three particular areas of church life:
  1. Worship and prayer. God remains God and we are still his people. It is vital we continue to spend time in God's presence and remind ourselves of these truths.

Sunday services at 10.30am and 4pm continue online on Zoom (https://zoom.us/j/243160649) and YouTube (youtube.com/c/STJworship/live). We meet from 10:00am and 3:30pm on Zoom and then move to YouTube when the service starts. For more information visit our Online Services page.

We have some resources for our families and children available as well.

  2. Staying connected. We are keeping our physical distance from others, but not our emotional or spiritual distance.  Our midweek groups are continuing via Zoom and Facebook Live with Bible studies, prayer, and even eating together virtually. If you are not part of one and want to join in then contact Matt.

  3. Supporting each other. We are aware that many need practical help at this time and God calls his people to be his hands and feet in the world. We will try to connect people who can provide support to those who need it.
Any church members (or indeed anyone member of the public) who is in particular difficulty should contact us via the form below.
