Physical and Online Services during the COVID-19 Pandemic
We have moved as many of our regular meetings as possible online - the church continues to be the church even when we do not meet in a physical building!
The Church of England as a whole is slowly returning to physical services, although there are still a number of restrictions on our meetings. We continue to follow Government and national Church of England guidance about re-opening and will return to online-only services if the situation requires it.
Below are details for how you can join us for prayer and worship during this uncertain time. For more details, contact Jude.
As a church, we are using the Zoom app for all our meetings and services. This is free to download and just requires an email to sign up.
As of August 2020, we are also meeting physically in the building to watch our pre-recorded service. We have taken a number of precautions to ensure everyone who comes is safe; see our Returning to the Building article for more details.
Both our 10:30am and 4:00pm services continue weekly online (although we only have one service a week during the Summer; see our Summer series page).
Once you have signed up to Zoom, join us from 10:00am and 3:30pm with the Meeting ID 243-160-649. When the service starts we move to our YouTube channel stjworship.
To join that part of the service, select the livestream that has the date and time for that day. You can also subscribe to the channel for updates and notifications.
We have resources for our families and children as well.
Evening Prayer through the week:
We have paused evening prayer during the summer but hope to return in September. See our Prayer page for more details.
