We worship in a Grade II* listed building that was derelict for 39 years.
We believe that God is about renewal and restoration for both people and the whole earth. One day he will 'make all things new'. We want to be part of that renewal in the midst of the wider regeneration that is occurring in Liverpool and that God is bringing about in his church and among his people.
Our restoration project is ongoing, in 2018 thanks to the generosity of our congregation and grant-making bodies, we took a major step in the restoration of St James by building toilets and a kitchen at the back of church. We are now planning the next phase which is going to involve moving out of the tent, creating more rooms in the tower and a full heating system. We are due to start the building works at the end of March 2021.
