Being part of St James in the City is not just about coming along on a Sunday. We have a number of Connect groups that meet in the middle of the week and we encourage everyone to be part of one.
Connect is a key way in which we Build God's kingdom, Live as a community, and Grow more like Jesus.
We have specific ministries for our families and our students which also provide midweek discipleship. Connect groups are primarily for those who are not part of those who do not fall into these groups, but they are open to everyone.
For more information about how to get involved with a Connect Group, contact Rev. Ed Down. You can also see a list of the groups below:
If you are new to St James, Growing Disciples is for you. The course usually runs in September and January for four weeks and participants then join an existing Connect group or start a new one.
If you are just exploring the Christian faith, or want a safe place to ask questions, then Alpha is the group for you. We usually run an Alpha course in the Autumn and the Spring terms.
